Genesis
In the beginning, there was a woman. She was a very busy woman with four mostly nice but sometimes naughty children. She was a woman who had the evil but common affliction that causes adults, especially mothers, to raise their hands and say "Sure, I can help with that." And so, her attention was scattered in many directions. One of the directions her attention was scattered was to several blogs she read with her coffee each morning. She knew that she could never take pictures or write or cook like The Pioneer Woman, or be as helpful as Works for Me Wednesday from Rocks in my Dryer. She didn't have an exciting tale of courage to tell or even a joke to share. Her life was much like so many other suburban moms who spend their days volunteering at the children's schools, their afternoons driving kids around, and their evenings leading scout groups and attending meetings before collapsing into bed. But she figured "Why not?" and so this blog was born to chronicle the life of an ordinary mom whose attention is always scattered.
